On a hot August night in 1984, Martha paid the ultimate price for having years ago taken the life of her no-good husband. Being sentenced to capital punishment, Martha serves the remainder of her time at Rockville Penitentiary, a maximum security prison. It is here that Officer Lee and Nurse Reno serve as a stark contrast to the extremely distraught Martha.
